Adeline is a bubbly public health practitioner and yoga teacher who creates welcoming spaces where students can connect inward. Her classes balance stillness and movement, encouraging growth, curiosity, and self-compassion. She believes yoga is for every body and every stage of life, and her teaching reflects that with warmth and intention.

Andrea D.
Andrea (she/her) has spent decades supporting women as they navigate life’s changes - and their often attendant hormonal firestorms. Her current focus is perimenopause, menopause, and the profound physical and emotional transformations of midlife. Her classes focus on helping women build strength and cultivate balance in their bodies and lives. In each class, she invites her students to approach their practice with curiosity, to move with ease, and to treat themselves with profound care. Andrea completed her 500 hour yoga teacher training with the late Esther Myers in 2004, along with prenatal-yoga trainings with Stephanie Keach and Janice Clarfield. Andrea also completed her Yoga for Menopause training with Niamh Daly as a complement to the numerous yoga and meditation workshops, trainings, and retreats she has attended over the decades. Andrea’s favorite things include snuggling with her dogs, reading, hiking, paddling, very dark chocolate, tea with friends, and yoga outside.

Angela
Angela (E-RYT 500, YACEP, Reiki Master) has taught over 6,000 hours of yoga and blends her love of movement, sound healing, meditation, and myofascial release into every class. With a background in skydiving, coaching, and fitness, she brings an adventurous spirit and playful energy to her teaching. Betsi
Betsi (E-RYT, RYT-300) discovered yoga in college as a way to manage stress and quickly fell in love with the practice. Teaching since 2012, she is a certified meditation instructor with an additional certification in Yoga for Athletes. Her classes are accessible to all levels and emphasize functional, sustainable movement to help students feel their best off the mat.

Brittany
Brittany discovered yoga in graduate school and has practiced ever since, bringing curiosity and joy to her teaching. She creates playful, energetic classes that balance effort with ease, encouraging students to find their own expression in each pose. With a supportive spirit, she helps students build strength, flexibility, and community along the way.

Colleen
Colleen has practiced yoga for over a decade and completed her 200-hour training in 2021. She loves guiding beginners and returning students, offering clarity and encouragement as they build confidence on the mat. Her classes often blend flow and yin elements, helping students explore both strength and stillness.

Dana
Dana brings her background as a biologist and as a science educator to the studio by weaving her appreciation for nature and her interest in the human body into her asana classes. Whether she is leading a vinyasa or a yin class, her goal is to offer students an accessible practice that includes sustainable asanas in an effort to cultivate the art of paying attention both on and off the yoga mat.

Emma
Emma is a 500-hour certified teacher trained in Restorative, Meditation, Reiki, and more. She works with students through all stages of life, offering a soothing and supportive practice that nurtures ease and connection. Her goal is to create an inclusive, welcoming space where students feel empowered both on and off the mat.
Jai
Jai (they/them) - I love the mechanics of the body, and the ability to express oneself through movement. I came to Yoga as a gymnast in 2005, and in 2019 completed my 200 HR YTT in Portland, OR. My teaching style is a blend of Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Iyengar. With an emphasis on Pranayama (breath work), cultivation of Drishti (gaze/focal point), and mechanical and energetic Asana alignment. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I seek to create an inclusive practice space for all individuals on the path of yoga. So, come as you are and bring with you an open heart, a curious mind, and playful sense of wonderment.

Jessica
Jess teaches somatic flow infused with Sanskrit, mantra, and meditation to help students connect to themselves in new ways. Off the mat, she supports healing through somatic therapy, and her teaching reflects the same values of compassion, awareness, and play. Her classes are an invitation to move, reflect, and feel deeply present.

Julie
Julie was drawn to yoga after her very first class, leaving the studio feeling strong, calm, and more curious about the world around her. That transformative experience set her on a path that would lead her to begin teaching in 2012.
Her approach to yoga is deeply informed by her diverse background, which includes studies in physical therapy, harp performance, and molecular biology. These seemingly different disciplines converge in her teaching, allowing her to blend a deep understanding of biomechanics and injury prevention with the intuitive grace of a musician, and the scientific curiosity to explore the body on a cellular level.

Kate (Studio Marketing + Content Manager)
Kate discovered yoga while recovering from a back injury and now integrates practice and writing into her work. A mother and former athlete, she brings empathy and creativity to her teaching, inviting students to explore yoga as both movement and self-reflection. Kathryn (Studio Co-Owner)
Kathryn (E-RYT, RYT-300) is the founder of Yoga Off East and brings experience in leadership, athletics, and cultural studies to her teaching. She leads teacher trainings and coaching with a focus on grounding, presence, and personal growth. Kathryn’s classes are both challenging and supportive, encouraging students to cultivate strength and awareness.

Kerry
Kerry came to yoga after a running injury and earned her 200-hour RYT to share its benefits with others. Her teaching balances breath-led movement with mindful stillness, inviting students to listen to their bodies. She creates a supportive space where yoga is both accessible and inspiring. Kim began practicing in 2002, completed her RYT-500 in 2024, and now shares yoga with warmth and authenticity. A former teacher, she integrates breath, compassion, and real-life experience into her classes. Her teaching is always evolving, grounded in the belief that yoga grows alongside us.

Leslie
Leslie is a 500-hour certified instructor who has taught since 2013. She combines philosophy, storytelling, play, and inclusivity to make her classes accessible and inspiring. With a focus on curiosity and authenticity, she invites students to explore yoga as both movement and a path of connection.

Melissa
Melissa (M.Ed., E-RYT 500, YACEP, Reiki Master) has more than 20 years of yoga practice and teaching experience. Her classes integrate asana, breathwork, meditation, and ritual, encouraging spiritual, physical, and mental growth. Melissa’s teaching is both rooted and expansive, helping students explore yoga as a holistic practice.

Olivia
Olivia has practiced yoga since 2014 and brings a focus on alignment and inclusivity to her classes. She designs practices that open, strengthen, and support students of all levels, offering clear instruction and thoughtful modifications. Her goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

Penelope
Penelope is a 200-hour certified teacher with a background in dance and choreography. She blends mindfulness, breath, and vinyasa flow to create classes that relieve stress and nurture healing. With her inviting teaching style, Penelope encourages students to discover freedom and ease in their practice.

Rachel
Rachel has been teaching yoga since 2018 after completing her training in Rishikesh, India. A trauma-informed and size-inclusive teacher, she creates warm, welcoming classes that emphasize strength and self-care. Her goal is for every student to leave feeling grounded, supported, and empowered.

Shauna
Shauna began practicing yoga in 2010 and is also a birth doula who values compassion, intention, and mindfulness. She creates supportive classes that encourage students to rest, explore, and connect with both body and mind. Her teaching is rooted in presence and authenticity.

Tammy
Tammy is a former athlete and powerlifter who found yoga as a way to heal and restore. She offers compassionate, accessible classes that emphasize safety, awareness, and mindful challenge. With her grounded energy, she helps students explore balance and strength at every stage of practice.
Teague
Teague has been practicing yoga since 2002, and teaching since 2015. She synthesizes alignment-based Hatha, functional movement/strength, and somatic practices, emphasizing the flow of prana (energy) through the body, biomechanics, the felt sense, exploration, and creative prop use. Teague continues her yoga education with SATYA (Somatic Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement) and her 500 E-RYT with renowned, interdisciplinary yoga and meditation teacher Tias Little in New Mexico. She draws inspiration from her study of the nervous system, yoga/esoteric philosophies, and enjoys all kinds of healing and cosmic sound/music. Her goal is to pass on the kind of enthusiasm, dedication, curiosity, and openness she feels in the practice.

Vanessa
Vanessa has taught yoga since 2004 and draws from a variety of lineages to guide her classes. She weaves movement, rhythm, and curiosity into practices that nourish both body and spirit. Her teaching reflects a love of community and a belief that yoga extends well beyond the mat. Learn more here.
